چکیده
Hydrological similarity-based parameter regionalization is the dominant method used for runoff prediction in ungauged basin. However, application of this approach depends on assessing hydrological similarity between basins. This study data runoff, climate, and underlying surface Hulan River Basin Poyang Lake to construct a novel physical index (HSI). Estimation of Design Flow in Ungauged Basins by Regionalization
Estimating design flow in ungauged basins is a task frequently encountered in the design and planning of hydraulic and water resources engineering. Regionalization is a way to deal with this issue. In this study, a regional formula for peak flows was established using gauged flows and basin topographic characteristics in order to estimate the design flows in ungauged areas within the homogeneou...

متن کاملHydrological ensemble forecasting at ungauged basins: using neighbour catchments for model setup and updating
In flow forecasting, additionally to the need of long time series of historic discharges for model setup and calibration, hydrological models also need real-time discharge data for the updating of the initial conditions at the time of the forecasts. The need of data challenges operational flow forecasting at ungauged or poorly gauged sites. This study evaluates the performance of different choi...
متن کاملRegionalization of SWAT Model Parameters for Use in Ungauged Watersheds
There has been a steady shift towards modeling and model-based approaches as primary methods of assessing watershed response to hydrologic inputs and land management, and of quantifying watershed-wide best management practice (BMP) effectiveness. Watershed models often require some degree of calibration and validation to achieve adequate watershed and therefore BMP representation. This is, howe...
